DAY 1 – DELHI
Arrival at Delhi, where you will be received by our officials and you will be transported to your hotel by the staffs. New Delhi is the Capital of India and naturally, the major gateway for your entry to India. It’s a bustling metropolis, where the remnants of ancient and medieval past, remnants of British colonial hegemony and contemporary lifestyle and architecture all seamlessly blend into one. Located virtually at the heart of the country, the city and its surroundings are the melting pot of various traditions and cultures and has been the centre stage of various ruling dynasties down the ages.

DAY 2 – DELHI – SRINAGAR
Breakfast will be followed by your journey to the airport to catch a flight from Delhi to Srinagar. Upon arriving at Srinagar, you will be received by a representative of ours, who will assist you at your airport and help you reach and settle in your houseboat on the famous Dal Lake. The Dal Lake is one of the most spectacular lakes in the world, and is one of the iconic places for which, the Kashmir valley is renowned all over the world. The lake is set against the backdrop of a range of snow peaked mountains and it is also comprised of several other smaller lakes, including the famous Nagin Lake. The lake offers a spectacular panoramic view of the mighty Himalayas. The houseboats are locally called Shikara, which are the best mode of transport, when it comes to exploring the convoluted maze or network of waterways on the lake. Once you have reached your house boat, you can retire for the day.

DAY 3 – SRINAGAR
Breakfast will be followed by a full day city tour of Srinagar. Eminent places that will be covered in the tour will include the iconic Nishat Bagh, Chashmeshahi and Shalimal Gardens. All these are some of the most spectacular and impeccably maintained gardens of the world, with laid out terraces, which are replete with a series of cascading fountains and some of the most beautiful flowering shrubs a & trees. These gardens were originally built for the relaxation and leisure of the Mughal Emperors and their immediate family members. You will also visit the famous Hazratbaal Mosque, which is believed to house a hair belonging to Prophet Mohammed and thus, is a very important shrine for the Muslims. Get back to your houseboat at the end of the day and retire for the day.

DAY 4 – GULMARG
Breakfast will be followed by your journey to Gulmarg, which is 58 km from Srinagar and will take approximately 2 hrs by road. Once you arrive at Gulmarg, you will be checked in into your hotel. Gulmarg was frequently visited by Emperor Jahangir and today, it is regarded as one of the most enchanting mountain resorts of the world, with one of the most fascination scenic beauties, which will leave you dumb struck. The place is also famous for the highest golf course of the world. At 2680 meters above the sea level, the golf course turns into one of the most eminent ski resorts of the world during winters.
On the way to Gulmarg , you will find the road dotted by poplers and rhododendrons and you will also witness vast fields that are occasionally interrupted by tiny hamlets at places. After you reach a place called Tang Marg, you gradually start your journey uphill, to reach Gulmarg, which means “a flower covered Meadow’. The entire place is indeed a meadow, with the total area being 3.5 km in length and 1 km in breadth. The entire meadow is surrounded by towering, snow capped peaks. You can also enjoy the Gondola or the cable car rise, which takes you up to Phase 1 or Kong Door. You enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of the place throughout the day and get back to your hotel in the evening and retire for the day.

DAY 5 – SRINAGAR
Breakfast will be followed by your journey back to Srinagar. Upon arrival at Srinagar, check into your house boat and retire for the day.

DAY 6 – SRINAGAR
Breakfast will be followed by a full day outing to Sonmarg, which is 76 km from Srinagar and will take more or less 2 hrs and 30 mins by road. On your way to Sonmarg, you will go though the spectacular countryside through the Sindh Valley. The river Sindh is the largest and the most prominent lifeline of the entire valley of Kashmir. The meadows are pregnant with some beautiful rock-cut gorges which are coupled with open lush green grassy and undulating meadows that are dotted with farmhouses and typical Kashmiri houses. You enjoy your day out in Sonmarg throughout the entire day and get back to your house boat in Srinagar in the evening.

DAY 7 – SRINAGAR – DELHI
Breakfast will be followed by your journey to the airport to catch the flight back to Delhi. Once you arrive in Delhi, you will be escorted to your hotel and you will check in and retire for the day.
