DAY 1 – DELHI

Arrival in New Delhi, where you will be received and assisted by our officials and representatives, who will take you to your hotel and help you to check-in. While the city of New Delhi is the capital of India and offers a seamless combination of ancient and contemporary architecture, which represents the country’s colonial past, the adjoining Old Delhi predominantly comes up with an ambiance that is rich in ageless cohesion of culture, heritage, history and tradition, all of which date back to the medieval era.

DAY 2 – DELHI

Breakfast, will be followed by a half day tour of New Delhi and Old Delhi. The major places of attraction of Old Delhi include Jama Masjid, the largest mosque of India, a trip to Chandni Chawk in India’s very own Auto Rickshaw. Chandni Chawk is a century old market place that reflects the true color of India, with all the colorful dresses, pottery, the famous Indian street foods, cuisines, curios and handicrafts, and last but not the least, the chaos that is also unique in its own way! The other places of tourist interest include the famous Red Fort, Qutab Minar and other medieval monuments and places of historical interest. A visit to Rajghat, where Gandhi was cremated, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, Canaught Place, one of the chief market places of New Delhi will complete the tour.

DAY 3 – MANDAWA

Breakfast in Delhi will be followed by drive to Mandawa, which is 260 km from Delhi and takes about 6 hours drive. You reach Mandawa at around late noon, and check into your hotel. Later, you enjoy a half day tour of the city of Mandawa. You visit the Shekhawati region, which is well-known for painted havelis or the mansions with frescoes. In fact, Mandawa is world famous for this particular type of art. The most noted havelies of the region include Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli, Murmuria Haveli, Goenka Double Haveli, Mohan Lal Saraf Haveli, and last but not the least, Jhunjhunwala Haveli. The entire town of Mandawa is often referred to as an Open Art Gallery. In the evening, you get back to your hotel, where you retire for the day.

Day 4 – BIKANER

Breakfast will be followed by a drive to the city of Bikaner from Mandawa, which is 185 km from Bikaner and will take approximately 4hours 30 mins. If you think of beauty in the sands of a desert, you will find it in Bikaner. Indeed , it a lustrous place rich in culture and heritage, and some of the most prosperous and imposing palaces on earth, with beautiful, richly sculptured buildings and temples made of yellow and red sandstones, which have stood for centuries defying the weather and the flow of incidents down the stream of time. That’s history at its very best!

You Arrive at Bikaner and check into your hotel. Later, you set out for a half day tour all around this majestic historic city. You visit the enormous Junagarh Fort, which was a virtually unassailable fort those days and it’s very much evident from the fact that no one could every conquer it. The fort houses some of the most ravishing palaces – the most notable of them being Anup Mahal, Rang Mahal (Palace of Pleasures) and the Ganga Niwas. You also find the Har Mandir, which is a gorgeous temple, designated for the members of the Royal family. Get back to the hotel and retire for the day.

Day 5 – JAISALMER

Breakfast will be followed by a drive to Jaisalmer, which is 333km from Bikaner and will take more or less 8 hrs by road. Arrival at Jaisalmer will be quickly followed by checking in to your hotel and retiring for the rest of the day. You must be dead tired after this ling journey!

DAY 6 – JAISALMER

Jaisalmer is located right in the heart of the Thar Desert. The city is rich in culture, beaming with life, ripe in history and tradition and sparkling with every color of the world that you can imagine. That is Jaisalmer in the nutshell! The city was once one of the most prominent and important nerve centers for trade and commerce and a lifeline for the people of this region, and was considered the major trading route between the west and India. Thus, the city was always very much in the headlines since the medieval period and that importance has still not faded – only its form has changed with the passage of time. Jaisalmer has the only living fort of India as the entire township and its adjoining ramparts are located inside the fort walls. In fact, the city is actually a fort city from that point of view.

You can start exploring the city from its center, where the Raj-Mahal is located. The place in now famous as Jaisalmer Fort Palace Museum & Heritage Centre. Other places where you can pay a visit include Salim Singh ki Haveli or the house of Salim Singh, and the Patwon-ki-Haveli, which is the most extensive and the largest mansion in Jaisalmer. You can also visit Nathmal Ji ki Haveli, which is a grand mansion, which reflects the combination of the Rajput and the Mughal architectures. You can pay a visit to the picturesque Gadisar Lake, and the exquisite Badal Vilas, with the later being the present residence of the former Royal Family. A portion of this palace has been remodeled and turned into a heritage hotel and restaurant. Come back to your hotel in the evening.

DAY 7 – JODHPUR

Breakfast will be followed by a long drive to Jodhpur, which is 290 km from Jaisalmer and will take approximately 7 hrs. Arrival at Jodhpur and checking in the hotel. Rest will be followed by a half day city visit. Jodhpur is the 2nd largest city of Rajasthan after Jaipur and is known as the ‘Sun City’. The most fascinating places of tourist interest include the Mehrangarh Fort, which is made up of sandstone and stands on an absolutely steep and almost perpendicular cliff overlooking the entire city. The fort houses a museum today, which houses an outstanding collection of medieval arms and costumes, paintings and other royal belongings. Other places include the Jaswant Thada, which is a marble cenotaph, and the Mandore Garden.

Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

DAY 8 – ROHETGARH

Breakfast will be followed by your journey to Rohet Garh, which is 20 km from Jodhpur and will take about 20-25 minutes from Jodhpur. After reaching, you check into your hotel. Rohet Garh is actually a Heritage Hotel, which is one of the finest of its kind in all over India. With beautiful architecture, majestic balconies, sprawling lawns and manicured gardens, the entire place is skillfully redesigned into one of the finest and the most luxurious hotels of the country. The place today attract hoard of birds of various species and of course Rajasthan’s very own peacocks and these birds heighten the class and dignity of the place by manifold.

After rest, you can go for a jeep safari to the nearby village to get the taste of the rural life. Come back at the evening and retire for the day.

DAY 9 – UDAIPUR

You have your breakfast and then set off for Udaipur, which is 230 km from Rohetgarh and will take approximately 5 hrs to reach. En route to Udaipur, you will visit the famous Ranakpur temple. Once you arrive at Udaipur, you will be checked in your hotel and you rest for the rest of the day.

DAY 10 – UDAIPUR

Breakfast, followed by the city tour. The places you will visit include the Udaipur City Palace, on the eastern fringes of the famous Pichola Lake. The balconies of the palace give you a fascinating view of the entire lake with the Lake Palace hotel at one end and the famous Jag Mandir at the other. The city is the cultural center and is the birthplace of marvelous paintings and sculptures, mosaics and intricately curved our chhatris of umbrella. Other places that you visit include Sahelion ki Bari, the Jagat Temple, and you can also enjoy a boat ride on the Pichola Lake. Return to your hotel in the evening.

DAY 11 – DEOGARH

After having breakfast, you set off for Deogarh, which is 135 km from Udaipur and will take 3 hours to reach. Arrive at Deogarh and check into your hotel. After rest, you set off for a trip in and around the place. You visit the Deogarh Mahal, which is an epitome of Mewar aristocracy, with the fort being a stronghold of one of the 16 umraos – or the senior most feudal barons in the court of the Maharana of Udaipur. You can also take a jeep safari into the village and the adjoining countryside with a guide or an escort. You can trek through the hills and opt for English saddle horse riding around your hotel and in the adjoining villages. You can opt for a horse-carriage ride, which is highly romantic, take a walk through the village, do boating on the lake (provided that it is not monsoon) or take a rest all throughout the day.

DAY 12 – SAMODE

Have the breakfast and start for Samode, which is 335 km from Deogarh and will take about 6 hrs 30 mins to reach. Check into your hotel upon arriving at Samode. The Samode Palace will be your hotel. DAY 13 – SAMODE

Have your breakfast and start for an excursion to Jaipur, which is 40 km from Samode and will take approximately 1 hr to reach. Visit the Amber Fort, which is a perfect example of a seamless combination of Hindu and Mughal architecture, Hawa Mahal or the Palace of the Winds, and the City Palace, Jantar Mantar Observatory, and the famous Albert Hall and then come back to Samode and retire for the day.

DAY 14 – AGRA

Have your breakfast and set off for Agra, which is 270 km from Samode and will take 6 hrs to reach. En route you visit Fatehpur Sikri, a UNECO World heritage site, the Tomb of Sheikh Selim Chisti, the famous Sufi Saint and further drive to reach Agra. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and retire for the day.

DAY 15 – AGRA – DELHI

Have your breakfast and proceed for a half day tour of Agra. Visit the Red Fort, and the famous Taj Mahal, built by Shah Jahan, which is one of the 7 wonders of the world. Later, start off for Delhi, which is 210 km and will take about 4 hrs and 30 mins. to reach. Arrive at Delhi and check into your hotel. Retire for the rest of the day.

DAY 16 – DEPARTURE FROM DELHI

Have your breakfast and then proceed for the airport. At the airport, we will have our official or representative, who will assist you to get to your plane for your next destination.
